Our planet is full of wonders, populated with wonderful creatures doing their own way and instincts to survive. Many animal ways, abilities, skills and behaviors were studied and adopted by humans. Animals became a good companion and worked together in daily ventures. Acknowledging animal importance along with their helpful skills and instincts will enable us to be more curious and caring for all precious creatures we share in this blue planet.

Sheep – If the sheep are threatened, they make large group and rub away together from predators. Sheep can also remember and identify animal faces like other sheep in the same group or any predators they’ve met. Even the human faces or their pastors, sheep can remember and identify them, too.

Pigeons – This sweet creature can recognize themselves in the mirror. They can also remember hundreds of different photos and images. Pigeons have great memory too, they can find their way or find routes going back home from long distances.

Rats – Rats have good memory too, once they’ve experienced a trap, they won’t get trap anymore. On social life and relationship, rats maybe stress and even die after their partner died. Like dogs, rats can be trained too to sniff out land mines and bombs.

Octopus – Considered the smartest among all invertebrates, Octopus have ability to change their skin color in less than a second, they can mimic seaweeds, crabs, corals and other sea things. Their tentacles are useful tool too, they can open bottles using it.

Squirrels – Squirrels have ability to remember their home by identifying things around like trees, bushes or flowers. When the Fall season arrives, Squirrels bury thousands of nuts in many places and gather all of them on Winter. Squirrels can pretend to bury fake nuts to fool their rivals.

Pigs – Pigs are considered one of the cleanest and odorless animals. Pigs have emotions, sensitivity, hurt feelings and can easily bore. They are sociable to human too, and considered more trainable than dogs.

Cats – Cats are trainable animal too, they can recognize many household things like radio or TV. Cats can even check traffic before crossing the streets. Cats are sweet and smart to get attention too, like following human, meowing, rub near the ankle or sit on lap. Cats keen hearing ability can recognize their owner’s footstep and stranger’s footstep, too.

Dogs – A very trainable and sociable, dogs can understand commands and obedience’s. Dogs are tend to be a sensitive animal, they feel jealousy and won’t forget someone who hurt them in their entire life. Dogs can identify and remember humans and other animals they’ve met, even they just heard on radio or seen on TV.

Parrots – Aside from ability to mimic human words, make sentences and sing, Parrots can remember and understand meaning of words, too. When well-trained, Parrots can use their beak as a tool like painting. They can count numbers up to 6, identify many objects and answer simple questions.

Crow – Crow are very creative animal and can be considered the smartest among all birds. Even not trained, Crows use their resourcefulness and creativity to make and use tools like branches to gather food from small holes. Crow also put nuts on treats for cars to ***** the nut so they can eat the nuts.

Elephants – They have the largest brain of all mammals that walked on Earth with average of 11 pounds. Some research show that Elephants have average Encephalization Quotient (EQ) of 1.88, compare to human’s 7.69 and chimpanzee’s 2.45. Elephants are the only animals that have death ritual. They are very altruistic and can recognize themselves on mirror. Their long trunk is useful from taking bath, drinking, get food or as holder of brush for painting. Elephants have ability to mimic sounds and few human words, and even understand word meaning is well-trained.

Monkey – This sometimes naughty animal can imitate human behavior without training. Monkeys have egoism, vain, pride and few other feelings as human’s. They are sociable with strong relationship, if two monkeys are fighting, one’s relatives will threaten other’s relatives. Well trained monkeys can behave like human like drinking from bottle, ride bicycles or perform in circus.

Whale – This big sea creature can find relatives separated miles away in the ocean. They have their own language to communicate and make different sounds that have meanings, they can sing different songs with good tone.

Dolphin – Dolphins are the smartest aquatic animal, they can recons themselves in the mirror, too. They are easy to train and capable to do different acrobatics, they can paint, too using their teeth to hold the brush. They use whistle sound to communicate which the best among the animal communication.

Great Apes – With 98% gene same as humans, Chimpanzees of the apes is the smartest animal species. They can use tools to paint, make tools like stones to cut food and also recognize themselves in the mirror. They are highly-trainable, they can count, tickle, snuggle and kiss humans. Chimp has language, too!
