Premiere for Hari Puttar – a Comedy of Terrors
Mirchi Movies brings India’s first exclusive premiere for KIDS & their Parents, hosted with Filmfare at Cinemax – Andheri on Wednesday, September 24th. From the producers of Being Cyrus now comes the Masti movie of 2008, Hari Puttar — A Comedy of Terrors. This flick is full of high energy, music, and emotional moments. The film also has two animated characters who are the ‘sutradaars’ – Hari Puttar and Funtoon who are already making waves amongst kids.
Zain Khan and Swini Khara were present for the premiere, along with the animated characters of Hari Puttar & Funtoon along with celebs of the likes of creative director Munish Purii, directors Rajesh Bajaj and Lucky Kohli, Deepshikha with kids, Aditi Gowitrikar, Suchitra Krishnamoorthy with daughter Kaveri, Nasir with kids Insirah and Aisha, Jatin and Kainaz Pandit, Adesh Shrivastava with family, Sarika, Ken Ghosh, Neha Bhasin, Suresh Wadkar with kids among others. The film also features Sarika, Jackie Shroff, Lillete Dubey, Vijay Raaz and Saurabh Shukla.

Zain and Swini admivtted that this a moment they were waiting for, while Sarika loved the Hari Puttar lifesize cartoon whose happy smile seemed to reflect the mood of the happy Hari Puttar — A Comedy of Terrors evening. Jatin Pandit avered that though his kid missed the premiere, he did not want to give the event a miss as the catchy music by Adesh Shrivastav was refreshingly infectious and seemed to grow on you.
The premiere also featured lots of masti elements – balloons, festoons, Hari Puttar & Funtoon tattoos, and good music.
Established brands such Britannia Treat, Diamond Comics, McDonalds, Zapak Games, Indiatimes, Radio Mirchi, Zoom, Times Now, Times Out Of Home, Navbharat Times, and Newspaper in Education have collaborated on the film. The film’s music is on T Series. The event is being produced and executed by 360 Degrees.
