ITT Tech has about 80 locations in 30 states and is the largest operator in the US of post-secondary school technical education. The school has over 37,000 students in different streams of education. There are, however, a few things that you must know before entering the ITT Tech school of criminal justice.

ITT Tech school of criminal justice has come under criminal investigation initiated by the US Justice Department. Although the top management of the school has been given a clean chit by the Justice Department, investigations are still going on at some of the local campuses of ITT Technical Institute. But clean chit or not just ask yourself why an educational institution should come under a criminal investigation?

ITT Education Services Inc, the corporate entity that owns and manages ITT Tech has come under investigation by Securities Exchange Commision (SEC). Although the company has so far come out unscathed with no fines or penalties being imposed on it, the fact that it came under investigation should ring a few warning bells.

ITT Technical Institute is accredited by ACICS and not by any of the eight regional accrediting bodies that are funded by the US Department of Education. As a result many RA accredited schools may not accept or allow transfer of credits earned at ITT Tech school of criminal justice. Similarly many law enforcement agencies at the local, state or federal level may not accept degrees earned at ITT Tech school of criminal justice for purposes of employment.

How technology news can help you.

Make a quick visit to any technology news website. There are a plethora of tech sites out there on the Internet. Some are well established websites (think CNET), and others are run by small publishers. Both have their merits.

A big publisher usually releases tons of tech related news on all sorts of products. The problem is, due to the huge scope of coverage, the focus is usually diluted. You will find different types of content – reviews, product releases, specifications, etc. Some of these content are written by paid tech writers, so there is a commercial element involved. Perhaps some writers are more inclined to write positive things about the products? Maybe.

Smaller publishers tend to be more focused, and they usually release news on hand picked products only. Being small, they can’t possibly cover everything under the sun. So it’s a wise strategy to adopt. Often, you find articles that are much more in depth. The owners are also more likely to be very passionate about the tech products they are writing about.

When buying a tech gadget, you usually pay more for newer technology. The important here is to remember that everything new comes with a much heftier price tag. The technology may not be necessarily better (e.g. buggy since it’s new), but you still end up paying substantially more for the product anyway.

If you want to save some money, just be patient. Keep browsing the tech news to keep yourself abreast of the changes. For instance, how is the technology improving? What are others saying about the brand new gadget? If you read nothing but great reviews on the product, that is a good sign.

You may need to suppress your own desire a little, so that you don’t end up rushing to be the first in line to buy that new camcorder, new television, or new mobile phone. Just wait a little. The price will come down soon enough as soon as the masses start to adopt the new technology. That way, you get a more stable device, at a much lower price.

How Is Clean Tech Different From Green Tech

The concept of "clean tech" is a response to the projected population growth on the planet, which is estimated to be 2.3 billion people by the 2050. The theory is that clean tech companies, which address environmental sustainability as part of their overall business strategy for profitability, will be the model that successful companies will have to use in order address the increasing demand for food, clothing, shelter and other scarce resources that will only increase as incomes rise across the globe.

Where "green tech" evolved in the 1970s from government controls intended to mitigate the effects of manufacturing and agricultural pollutants on the environment, "clean tech" is built into the business model from the very beginning. Green tech has traditionally always seen as an expensive, but required, drain on a company’s profits. Clean tech is built into the business strategy as an acknowledgement that resource scarcity and pollution exist and must be addressed when planning profitable strategies. It is a long the same lines as when a business incorporates the cost of paying office rent or the cost of purchasing manufacturing materials into its overall budget.

Also, there are some products which are included in green funds which would never be included in a clean fund, such as ethanol. Where an alternative energy fund would include a company which produces ethanol in its fund because ethanol is considered to be an alternative to petroleum based fuels, a clean tech fund would not include an ethanol-producing company in its portfolio because of it’s net carbon effect. Ethanol production requires so much petroleum based fuel in order to grow the corn and process it, that there is negligible positive effect on the environment for using it.

Green tech Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) tend to focus narrowly on a single business sector, like energy, manufacturing or recycling. As a result, green energy Exchange Traded Funds can be extremely volatile and sensitive to fluctuations in the price of oil. Clean tech ETFs have not been so volatile (although, in fairness, they have only been around since the Clean Tech Index was created in 2006, so there is not a long history to track). Clean tech companies exist across a broader range of business sectors like agriculture, manufacturing, transportation and new materials. As a result, clean tech Exchange Traded Funds have seen a more stable performance, comparable to the returns from the S&P 500 Index.

Virginia Tech Hokies – Resilient Late Bloomers

The Virginia Tech Hokies football team is Virgina Tech’s college football program and is one of the most successful college football teams in the country. It competes in the Atlantic Coast Conference in the NCAA Division I-FBS. The Hokies play their home games at the Lane Stadium, one of the loudest stadiums and has one of the best home-field advantages in the nation. Following the 2006 season, the Hokies have a career record of 198-105-4. Their head coach, Frank Beamer, is considered to be the third coach with the most number of wins in the Division I-FBS. He ranks behind Bobby Bowden and Joe Paterno. The Hokies also have a consistent record in the bowl games, participating in the postseason every year since the 1993 season. They also have the third longest streak of bowl game participation in the country, behind Michigan, Florida, and Florida State. In college football program history, the Hokies ranked in the Top 10 four times, won six conference championships, and played for the national championships. However, they lost in the 2000 Sugar Bowl to Florida State University by 46-29.

The first football game the Hokies ever played was in October 21, 1892 against the Radford, Virginia school St. Albans Lutheran Boys School. At that time, Virginia Tech was known as the Virginia Agricultural and Mechanical College. They won their game with a score of 14-10 but eight days later, when they returned to Ratford for another game, they were defeated 10-0. For decades, the Hokies was a mediocre independent program, winning and losing games here and there. But in 1987, when head coach Frank Beamers was hired, the Hokies worked its way up to the top 20. In the 1995 Sugar Bowl, the Hokies, ranking at 13th, defeated he Texas Longhorns, which ranked at 9th.

The best season for the Hokies was probably the 1999 season. Led by freshman quarterback Michael Vick, the Hokies went through the regular season with an 11-0 record. They defeated the West Virginia Mountaineers in a last minute drive and winning field goal ending in a 22-20 victory. That game came to be known as the “Miracle of Morgantown.”

In the following seasons, the Hokies had a fair share of success, making it to the 2000 Sugar Bowl against the Florida State Seminoles. The Seminoles defeated them however 46-29. The next season was better as the Hokies once again played for the national championship. While they lost in the Sugar Bowl to the Miami Hurricanes, they won the 2001 Gator Bowl, defeating the Clemson Tigers 41-20.

The 2007 season was a solemn season for the Hokies due to the aftermath of the Virginia Tech shootings which shocked the entire world. Still, the Hokies prevailed in an emotional game against the East Carolina Pirates with a 17-7 score. The team went on to play against the LSU Tigers but managed only 149 yards as opposed to the Tigers’ 598 yards. In their match up against Boston College, they had a 10-0 lead but later lost at the last minute 10-14. Still, Virginia Tech managed to win the rest of the regular season and claim a Coastal Division Crown.

Georgia Tech Apartments – Yellow Jackets in the House

Georgia Tech sits nestled right in the middle of Atlanta, making cheap housing more difficult to find than universities and colleges that are based in a less metropolitan area. That being said, Atlanta residents are very proud of their home town university and there are options available for students looking for Georgia Tech apartments, both on and off of the main campus.

Even though rents in Atlanta aren’t exactly cheap, the good news is that for students who are looking for some off campus Georgia Tech apartments there are affordable options within walking distance of the main part of campus. By reasonable, that means if you do a little bit of homework you should be able to find a decent place that has a rent in the $350-$550 range (bearing in mind that’s excluding utilities, Internet, phone, etc).

 

If you’re close to campus, chances are any roommates you have will also likely be Georgia Tech students, which can make the living arrangements easier. Most of the areas are considered safe, although the “Homepark” area has some negative notoriety, so do your research and make sure that the area is one you feel comfortable in and can be safe at.

 

Georgia Tech apartments tend to be highly sought after, so you will want to make sure to search far and wide to see what the best deals available are, and if you see an excellent deal that’s open in a good place, snatch it up!

 

Many of the Georgia Tech apartments on campus are some of the best moderately priced apartments in all of Atlanta. Currently Georgia Tech houses more than 16,000 students, and the surrounding apartments hold a good number of those students, as well. There are also apartments close by that aren’t officially related to the University that love renting to students. In fact, some of them only allow Georgia Tech schools to rent during the actual school year.

 

This is what helps give students looking to attend Georgia Tech so many options as to living situations. The actual Georgia Tech apartments are great student apartments with the customary set up you can expect from a normal student apartment at a University. A main living area, your own bedroom, and shared kitchen shared among all the roommates.

 

There are also Georgia Tech student rentals that act just like a normal apartment, giving you your own space for the entire area. These will be smaller than shared Georgia Tech apartments, but generally also quite a bit larger than your average freshman dorm rooms. So the good news is that if you are looking to be a Yellow Jacket, your choices in apartments are numerous.

While monitoring the day-by-day edits that Frank R Wallace published on www.neo-tech.com as they happened, I watched the developments right up until his death. For 5 years I watched digital-dot by digital-dot every edit that Wallace made public.

I used services like Google Alerts to tell me precisely where and when changes throughout www.neo-tech.com happened.

I noticed the styles of writing change into the style of Pax Neo-Tech. I saw the exact additions, amendments, edits, revisions and deletions that Wallace made for Pax Neo-Tech. The layers of integrations added.

That helped me to understand the process and development of the Neo-Think mentality and matrix that Wallace was cultivating via this strange batch of documents labeled Pax Neo-Tech.

Here is one example of one of the newest edits that were made to Pax Neo-Tech.

Pax Neo-Tech has been taken down from public access now; I’m hoping to get my hands on a copy of the later chapters of Pax Neo-Tech later this year.

Pax Neo-Tech was the publicly edited matrix that Frank R Wallace was working on at the time of his fatal traffic accident during his daily morning jog.

This new work explored modern day events whilst adding universally permanent insights about the nature of man’s evolution and ascension into modern technological man. In places Pax Neo-Tech is an easy read, in others it’s difficult, and sometimes entertaining, and sometimes stomach churning. I don’t claim to understand it all, and I look forward to the day when I can plum it fully for all its life advantages.

Auto Tech Schools Versus Community College Programs

Naturally, when you are researching auto mechanic programs, one of your main concerns is cost. To many people, the tuition charged by auto tech schools seems exorbitant when compared with the less expensive programs offered at community colleges. However, as a school that specializes in one area of instruction, an automotive school offers many benefits over a low budget community college program.

For instance, most auto tech schools offer better equipment than community colleges. The reason for this is that community colleges depend on the government for their funding, and as a result are constantly struggling to pay their teachers, let alone stay up to date on equipment for their students. On the other hand, the tuition you pay at an automotive school ensures that the school can provide and maintain state of the art equipment for its students.

Another advantage of the degree programs offered by auto tech schools is superior teachers. Again, this has to do with the fact that auto tech schools specialize in one field. As a result, a school that focuses on automotive training will be able to offer a choice of several different degree programs, including programs for earning Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications. ASE certifications are an important part of the automotive industry, as they demonstrate to employers and customers alike that a mechanic has mastered his or her areas of certification; as such, any good automotive education program will train and test students in the areas of ASE certification.

Besides factors that are directly related to the quality of a student’s education, such as high quality equipment, teachers, and educational programs, as private institutions auto tech schools can also offer superior student services, such as job placement services. Job placement services in particular are very important, as the primary reason for pursuing an education is to become more qualified for a specific job or career. Auto tech schools tend to have an office dedicated to helping graduates find jobs, and usually have a good reputation with local employers. Additionally, many auto tech schools have long term relationships with local business, meaning that many of these businesses go directly to the school when they are in need of interns or fulltime mechanics. All of these factors help the graduates of an auto tech school find jobs more easily than those who attended a community college.

Saving yourself money by attending a community college program may seem like a wise decision, but in the long run it may have a detrimental impact on your career path. Factors such as the curriculum, teachers, and equipment dictate how much you learn and how well you learn it, while support services for students, such as job placement assistance, help you translate your education into a career. The extra money it costs to enroll in a degree program at an auto tech school may be the difference between a quality education and mediocre training, a career in the fast track or just a job.
